Severn Rash, B.A.
Severn Rash graduated James Madison University in 2016 with a Political Science B.A. and a Minor in Environmental Studies. Before his internship at Putsavage PLLC and EnviroReg LLC, he interned with EcoPeace Middle East and The Center for Water Security and Cooperation. During his time at EcoPeace, he attended multiple Wilson Center conferences focused on environmental infrastructure resilience and global water security. During his time at The Center for Water Security and Cooperation, he conducted research on the Silala River conflict and wrote a piece detailing the effects of corn-based ethanol production on the Iowa’s and other Midwestern United States’ surface and groundwater resources. His piece was later published in The Center for Water Security and Cooperation’s April newsletter. During his time at Putsavage PLLC and EnviroReg LLC, Severn Rash will research current news, policy, and rulemaking on pesticides. His work will help potential clients disseminate pesticide regulatory information to support their businesses’ objectives.
